Earlier this week was the Jewish Holiday of Yom Kippur. For those who don’t know, Yom Kippur is a day of repenting for mistakes made in the past year and making amends for those wrongdoings.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve gone back and forth on how to appropriately and sufficiently address the events transpiring across the nation and even the world. We’ve had numerous discussions with friends, family and colleagues about issues of systemic racism and inequality.
In 2017, I attended the Legal Marketing Association (LMA)’s Annual Conference in Las Vegas – the first professional conference I ever attended on my own.
